Newark & Sherwood Community and Voluntary Service (CVS) provides free support services to voluntary organisations in the Newark & Sherwood District, including information, funding advice and support, training, practical resources, recruiting and placing volunteers and developing partnerships between statutory and voluntary sector, carers and users of services.

Newark & Sherwood CVS ensures quality and equality in all aspects of its delivery of services.

Newark & Sherwood CVS was awarded the Investors in People standard in 1999 and achieved Bronze status in 2009.
