Sherwood Forest Hospitals Benefits From Community Representatives Says New CEO.
Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is inviting members of the public to find out more about the work of Governors at an event at King’s Mill Hospital next week.
The Trust will be holding elections for its public Governors for the areas of Ashfield, Mansfield and Derbyshire this year and are keen for members of the public to put themselves forward for the role.
New Chief Executive Richard Mitchell said: “Governor elections are always an important event for the Trust and it’s a real benefit for our hospitals to have members of the public representing their communities and providing innovative and creative suggestions to any challenges the NHS faces.”
The event is at Kings Mill Hospital on Wednesday 26 July from 2pm till 4pm and is open to all members of the public.
Results of the election will be announced on Wednesday 13th September.
