Nottinghamshire Carers' Advisory Group

Nottinghamshire Carers' Advisory Group is open to all carers and voluntary groups who have an interest in carers.

The group works as an advisory group to the NHS, Adult Social Care and Health Department of the County Council and local authorities to improve services for carers in Nottinghamshire.

The group invite representatives from NHS Nottinghamshire County and Adult Social Care and Health to discuss progress of the:

  • Nottinghamshire Joint Commissioning Strategy and its action plans
  • Nottinghamshire Carers Demonstrator Site Project
  • Dementia Strategy
  • Pilot projects such as the Newark GP Carer Support Project

Meetings are held 2-3 times a year in Nottingham and North Nottinghamshire.
