Enable is the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Voluntary and Community Sector Learning and Skills Consortium. It was established to enable voluntary organisations and community groups to effectively engage in the development and delivery of the local learning and skills agenda.

There is increasing recognition that the voluntary and community sector has an important role to play within a range of social and economic policy areas and in particular that it can potentially make a significant contribution to the national and local learning and skills targets for adults and young people.
