We have two car schemes operating throughout the District. Both services share a team of volunteer drivers who use their own cars and receive a mileage allowance. People are eligible to use the services if they are unable to use, or do not have reasonable access to, alternative transport.
The Voluntary Transport Scheme provides transport for people needing to get to medical appointments at hospital and clinics both within and outside the County.
Door2Door provides transport to everyday activities such as social and luncheon clubs, meetings and hospital visiting.
For more information about our Community Transport Schemes and how to access them, please contact:
Lucy or Katie on 01636 611220 or 610773 (lines are open 9am – 1pm, Mon-Fri) or email firstname.lastname@example.org
