The Making Memories Activity Group began under the umbrella of our Making Memories Befriending Service. When that service ended we realised that the Activity Group was a very much loved element of the service – and so it has continued.
Making Memories is open to anyone in Newark & Sherwood who is living with dementia and other / undiagnosed memory problems and their carers. The group is an opportunity for people to take part in a variety of activities and also to receive information or advice on topics of interest such as: exercise, nutrition, local services etc.
The group normally runs in blocks of 6 weekly sessions which are frequently run by external partners.
If you would like to attend the group, know someone who might benefit or just want more information, please contact:
Amy Hiscock, Dementia Information Officer on 01636 679539 or firstname.lastname@example.org
