Support Worker Vacancy – Newark Emmaus Trust
Newark Emmaus Trust (NET) are currently advertising a vacancy for a part-time Support Worker for 24 hours per week. The post holder will be part of the Support Worker Team working across our core and cluster accommodation in Newark with responsibilities specifically for Client Engagement working directly with our resident group to develop and improve their literacy knowledge and ICT skills.
Last Year NET increased the number of homeless young people aged 16-25 years that it accommodates from 29 to 34 young people and we can now also accommodate 10 pregnant teenagers/mums & babies. As well as providing 24 hour supported accommodation across all of the core accommodation units the trust also provided a wide and varied programme of residents’ activities, life skills training, and volunteering opportunities as well as an accredited City & Guilds training programme which takes place in the Trust’s own training centre.
