Healthwatch ~ consultation on the NHS Long Term Plan

What matters to you about your local health and care?

The NHS has recently published a new document called the NHS Long Term Plan which sets out how services will grow over the coming years to improve people’s health and wellbeing.

To help understand how the plan can be reflected best in local decisions about care it is vital that you share your thoughts. Whether it’s your opinion on what the plan says is important, or how you and your family get health advice, support and services – please join in the conversation.

Healthwatch Nottingham & Nottinghamshire are visiting lots of groups, and would like the opportunity to drop into your group for a quick chat with everyone about how they, or anyone they know can get involved.

Healthwatch works to help communities (especially those who sometimes struggle to be heard) get the best out of their local health and care services.  They are particularly interested in gathering a diverse range of views from people who have a long term condition such as arthritis, diabetes, heart or lung disease; a learning disability or autism; cancer, or a mental health condition.

By contributing to their short survey about the Long Term Plan you will help your group to get their voice heard about what really matters to you about services locally.  To complete the survey go to http://hwnn.co.uk/wwyd

If you would be interested in a member of the Healthwatch team coming to visit your group, please telephone the Healthwatch office on 0115 956 5313.
