Best Years

We believe that everyone should be able to enjoy the ‘best years’ of their life, be in control of their future, and have access to the right types of help when and where they need it. Best Years improves lives of over 65s in Newark and Sherwood by offering friendship, social connection and support, leading to better mental and physical health and wellbeing.

Who is it for? 

Best Years is for anyone aged 65 and over in Newark and Sherwood, who would benefit from extra support, social connection and improved health.

Best Years Hubs

A Best Years Hub provides a consistent weekly presence in specific communities across the district, and comprises of a social activity group and an information drop in.
