Volunteer Recruitment Fair – Sat 1st June
Thinking of volunteering but not sure what’s out there or wondering where to start in looking for something to get involved with?
Come along to the Volunteer Recruitment Fair on Saturday 1st June at The Buttermarket. We’ll be there from 10am – 3pm, along with over 20 different groups and organisations who all rely on volunteers in one way or another to do what they do.
Organised by the newly formed Newark & Sherwood Community Network, the fair aims to give those who would like to get involved with volunteering the chance to meet groups and organisations, face-to-face and find out first hand what’s really involved.
There’s also entertainment including a performance from the Community Choir.
