As the number of refugees fleeing the war passed 3.3mn Ukrainian refugees will start to arrive in the UK as part of the resettlement scheme this week.
We are all wondering what we can do to help. On this page we will collect information on how the support will be provided so groups and individuals can have a helpful point of access.
The Homes for Ukraine scheme has now been launched. The scheme will allow any UK resident to host refugees in their home. For full information on the scheme, and to register your interest, please visit

DBS Checks for refugees and asylum seekers with less than 5 years address history
This is an issue that is coming up more frequently at the moment for refugees of all nationalities who have not been in the country for 5 years.
