    About the service

Andy is the local Engagement and Volunteer Coordinator. He is keen to engage with the people of Ollerton and Boughton, to help support and develop groups around areas of local need or concern. Andy can help if you are about to start a new community group, develop your existing group, require help with your management committee or managing people, or if you are looking for funding. He can also help with volunteering, helping to develop individual skills and enhance employability.

    How we work with you

As an organisation, we work with local partners to develop groups and improve the health and wellbeing of the local population. Working with local people is central to our work and we collaborate with a range of providers.

You can access our organisational health check to help you understand the strengths and weaknesses of your organisation. Your group can carry this out themselves, or you can ask Andy who would be happy to help.

    Face to face virtual sessions

We can offer one-to-one support. This includes advising you on how your organisation operates, how to ensure that you are carrying out your activities safely and legally, how to plan for the future, and how to grow your organisation.

You can book to attend a session with a development worker. The initial session will last up to one hour and includes an action plan and up to two follow up sessions. Dates for sessions are advertised on our website and through our news channels.

    Telephone support

You can call us between 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday on 01636 679539. If our lines are busy, we will call you back. A member of staff will provide advice or signpost you to the support you need. If we are unable to assist you, we will direct you to specialist support.

    Training

We want to reach as many people as possible, so we also offer support via workshops and training. Please go to our Training page for further details.
