Door2Door Accessible Vehicle (Plus Bus)

Door2Door has been running a wheelchair accessible MPV for the last three years however, after much consideration, it was decided that the cost of running and maintaining the vehicle was simply too much.

Arrangements were made to return the “Plus Bus” to the County Council but in fact it has been taken over by Kirkby in Ashfield’s transport scheme as a similar vehicle of theirs was recently damaged irreparably by vandals. 

We are sad to see the vehicle go but are pleased that it has been immediately put to good use elsewhere.

Many thanks to the volunteers who have been driving the Plus Bus for the last 3 years.
