    Finding a role

So we can find the right role for you, we will need to ask you a few questions. This will enable us to find suitable roles that are available and to your liking. The types of questions we are likely to ask are; How much time do you want to give? What do you hope to gain from volunteering? What skills you would you like to use? Once you have identified a role you are interested in, you can contact the organisation direct, in your own time.

What types of roles are available?

There are many different types of roles for you to consider. There are volunteering opportunities in conservation, befriending, sports, youth work, driving and many more!

How soon can you start volunteering?

It all depends on the recruitment process of the organisation and the type of role you are applying for. You usually have to complete a simple application form and provide two referees. Depending on the role, you may need a DBS check (previously known as CRB). This can take around four to six weeks.
