We organise social activities for the carers of people with dementia. They can attend on their own or with the person they care for. We continue to welcome members after their loved ones have died or moved into residential/nursing care. This combats the social isolation of carers, by creating friendships and enabling people to share their experiences with others in a similar situation. We are a very friendly and welcoming group. Activities include sports, crafts, music, dancing, meals out, trips and holidays. We also have a very informative closed Facebook group to keep members updated.
